Cats And Dogs:-
Cats and Dogs is the Third and final book to feature Jack Hamilton, who has now retired and remarried to his new wife some 5 years after the sad death of his first wife. Jack has moved to be close to his brother Billy and his wife Jenny. Jenny owns a small animal rescue centre for Cats and Dogs. Jack and Janet run a smallholding growing vegetables. A wealth entrepreneur moves in next door to the Rescue Centre. He appears to be a like minded individual to Jenny and just wants to save animals from around the world. He invests his money into her rescue centre making it much bigger and better than most others in the UK. As things progress and the Rescue Centre becomes self funding, yet still their benefactor continues to pour money into Jenny’s venture apparently wanting nothing in return except to see animals given new homes in the UK. Things start to twist out of control when one of their Vets is brutally murdered in the small market town of Boston Lincolnshire. Jack calls an old friend in the Swindon police force and does some digging, Nothing is ever quite what it seems. Especially with the involvement of the CIA and the Russian FSB this goes all the way up to President Putin of Russia in a no holds barred thriller.
